Brianna received a Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas and a Masters degree in Social Work with a focus on children and families from the University of Texas at Arlington. Brianna has experience working for non-profit organizations, domestic violence shelters, and various suicide and crisis hotlines. She has experience working with children and adults of all ages who have or are presently experiencing crisis, childhood/ adult trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm behaviors, suicidality, and low self-esteem.
It is important to Brianna to facilitate a safe and warm therapeutic space for clients from all different cultures and backgrounds. She strongly believes each person’s life journey is unique and therapy should be tailored according to the client’s individual needs and goals. In her work with clients, Brianna utilizes a variety of evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She empowers and motivates clients through her trauma-informed, solution-focused, person-centered, and strengths-based approaches.
When not working, Brianna enjoys baking, crocheting, kickboxing, and spending time with her family and cats.
