In order to best be prepared to help you toward your goals, it is helpful for us to know more about you. It is also helpful for you to have time to review important documents before you begin therapy.

MySpectrum requires the completion of forms before your first appointment for many reasons. First, we want to make sure that we know enough about you so that your match with your Therapist is solid. Second, we want to make sure that you have a chance to review and sign any consents for treatment, releases of information, and ensure that we have the correct information so we can bill you and your insurance appropriately. Third, and maybe most importantly, we want to make sure that your Therapist spends your first session getting to know you. Often, Therapists are tasked with ensuring their clients complete required forms during their intake appointment. At MySpectrum, we would rather your Therapist focus on listening to why you’re coming to see us, what goals you want to work on, and really starting the journey of building the important therapeutic relationship instead of focusing on paperwork.

When you submit a Get Started Form, the Admin Team will reach out and let you know what forms to fill out so we can get you scheduled.
