Tiffany received both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a Resident Counselor in the state of Virginia, practicing under the supervision of Keith Huffman, LPC, at MySpectrum.

Tiffany has clinical experience working with children, teenagers, and adults encompassing a variety of mental health areas to include ADHD in children and teenagers, social anxiety, anger management, trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety. Her experience includes, but is not limited to, individual therapy, play therapy, and family therapy.

Tiffany utilizes a person-centered approach in which the client’s issue is met without judgement as well as a great deal of understanding and empathy. Tiffany feels this is key to developing a strong therapeutic relationship. She provides an integrated approach to counseling that utilizes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution focused techniques as a foundation for treatment with considerable emphasis placed on the influence of childhood and life experiences. She is also passionate about the use of relaxation techniques and guided imagery as a source of stress reduction for clients when needed.

When not at work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, reading, traveling, listening to music, and attending sporting events with her children.
