Tiffany Barnhard, LCSW

Tiffany received a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of New England.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia.

Tiffany gained much of her experience working in extremely diverse settings in both Virginia and Michigan, where she is originally from. She was also given the opportunity to provide therapy to children and adults in Kingston, Jamaica, which allowed her to gain significant experience with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Tiffany believes that taking a holistic approach in therapy is beneficial in establishing a well-balanced life, which has resulted in her providing Teletherapy at MySpectrum.

She has experience working in inpatient, community, and residential settings specific to mental health and substance abuse and has over 15 years in the field. Tiffany utilizes techniques of CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused Therapy when guiding individuals through challenges in their lives. Her easy-going, empathetic nature allows for comfortability in establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship and she is looking forward to working with you!

In her free time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking with her dog, and listening to music.
