Tessa Lange, LCSW

Tessa received her Bachelors in Social Work and Masters in Social Work at George Mason University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia.

Tessa has over 7 years of experience primarily working with individuals experiencing challenges such as mood dysregulation, depression, anxiety, self-harm behaviors, suicidality, and substance use/dependency. Tessa’s professional background prior to teletherapy includes psychiatric crisis intervention at emergency rooms and hospitals, facilitating groups for a partial hospitalization program, and providing psychoeducation to residents at an assisted living facility.

She is very excited to work with new people and serve as a guide for her clients while they navigate through personal growth towards positive, sustainable change. She prefers a collaborative approach to develop personalized treatment plans, using cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy to help her clients reach their goals.

Outside of work, Tessa has traveled to Alaska and would love to see the Northern Lights again, although currently she enjoys spending her free time with family locally in Virginia.
