Throughout her education and professional experience, Tauniliz has worked with diverse populations, with a particular passion for supporting older adults. As a Geriatric Case Manager, she helped homebound older adults access community resources, benefits, home care services, transportation, and other supports that promoted safety, independence, and overall well-being. Tauniliz has provided therapeutic support to older adults, including individuals living with dementia.
In her therapeutic work with all ages, Tauniliz utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies, cognitive exercises, and other client-centered interventions to support emotional well-being, engagement, and coping. Tauniliz believes that every individual deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. She strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful goals. Her approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in empathy, authenticity, and human connection.
As a bilingual clinician fluent in both English and Spanish, Tauniliz values meeting clients where they are and helping them navigate life’s challenges with confidence and support.
When she is not working, Tauniliz enjoys spending time with her family, spending time with her puppy, working on home and garden projects, and discovering new coffee shops.
