Sharon received a Bachelors degree in English from Millsaps College and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and North Carolina.
Sharon’s experiences in the Clinical Social Work field have provided her with well-rounded opportunities that landed her at MySpectrum ready to work with every person, on every spectrum. Her areas of specialization include the Seriously Mentally Ill population, ranging from Bipolar Disorder to Schizophrenia and anywhere in between on this spectrum, to include milder depression and anxiety. Sharon is experienced to help you or family members to understand mental health and well-being, and how to live the most fulfilling life possible. Sharon seeks to help others with their relationships in general, and families in particular. Sharon is well grounded in Systems Theory and Solution-focused Brief Therapy.
When not working, Sharon enjoys reading, cooking from scratch, classical music, movies, and playing games with her family.
