Angela Bush, LCSW-S
Teletherapist,
Angela earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Tarleton State University and her Masters degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor in Texas.
Angela has worked with all levels of needs, but most of these needs fall under adjustment, depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD or relationship problems. She uses an eclectic style of therapy by being flexible with therapy modalities depending on the need. Some of the modalities that Angela utilizes include ACT, DBT, CBT, and Attachment Therapy. She is certified in Gottman Method 1 for couple’s therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma. She also maintains an overall trauma-focused style with all clients.
Angela enjoys working with all age groups. Each age group plays such a large role in our society and has so much to offer while having their own different level of needs. We all are part of our environment–coming from different cultures, families, and situations. We are diverse including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and religion. Angela accepts the client where one is in life’s journey and practices culturally aware and gender-affirming care. Each age group is different and is treated according to where one is in life. Trauma, anxiety, and depression will look different in a child or a teen as it may lead to issues and behaviors at school, while affecting a couple’s relationship, and may lead to an adult isolating–feeling too vulnerable to face the world daily.
