While in graduate school, Brad worked in a community outpatient setting where he provided counseling services to various populations from children, adolescents, adults, couples, and therapeutic groups focusing on co-dependency and men’s issues. He has therapeutic experience with those who have dealt with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma (physical, emotional, sexual), mood disorders, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and struggles with boundary setting.
Brad thoroughly enjoys sitting with and meeting clients where they are at and being able to empower them to achieve their goals. He believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and in creating a safe place for clients to work through what can be some of their most painful/difficult situations.
To assist clients in meeting their goals and in becoming a more empowered individual, Brad uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and aspects of mindfulness-based practices.
When he is not working, Brad enjoys exercising, going to the movies, being outdoors and on/in the water, and spending time with friends and family.
