Tiffanie Sutherlin, Ph.D, LPC, NCC, ACS
Teletherapist

Tiffanie received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Mason University, her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling and Supervision from James Madison University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia.

Tiffanie has 8+ years of experience providing counseling in a variety of different settings such as college counseling centers, inpatient settings, in-home, and outpatient settings. Her clients have ranged from ages 12 to older adulthood coping with different issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-identity, racial and multicultural concerns, relationship issues, life transitions/adjustments, family of origin, and trauma.

Tiffanie’s approach is one that is integrative as she does not feel a therapeutic approach is a one-size fits all. She likes to incorporate aspects of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and feminist therapy. Tiffanie sees herself as a guide to help you through identifying what is happening, providing a safe place to process your thoughts and experiences while providing you support every step of the way.

In her free time, Tiffanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and discovering local coffee shops. She has two fur babies that keep her on her toes!
