Teletherapist
Raechel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Longwood University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been licensed as an LCSW in Virginia since 2016.
Raechel has over 10 years of clinical experience working with adults in various settings including outpatient, residential treatment centers, hospitals and the correctional setting. Her breadth of experience in different treatment settings has prepared her to work with a diverse client base. She believes people already have the internal resources they need to overcome the challenges they are facing but can benefit from guidance and support to access these resources in a new and different way that is most helpful to them.
Raechel’s therapeutic style is comprised of non-judgment, validation, and supportive confrontation- the ingredients she believes are most necessary to promote change and growth. She enjoys supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress management, personality issues, criminality, and trauma. Raechel will incorporate family therapy when appropriate and has a passion for helping families to restructure, reorganize, and heal.
In her free time, Raechel enjoys watching crime shows and reality television, doing yardwork, painting, and cooking.
