Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Community Service from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and a Master of Social Work degree from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has completed her clinical hours toward licensure and is in the process of testing to become a fully independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia.
Courtney has experience in crisis counseling, suicide intervention, intensive in-home counseling, mental health skill building, case management, substance use, school Social Work, supportive therapies, expressive art activities, and working with clients with various mental health struggles in the school, office, community, and psychiatric residential settings. Courtney has experience working with children and adults.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling and spending time with family. She looks forward to helping families, children, and adults to identify and strengthen their identities while improving healthy ways to manage life daily.
