Brian Zehring
Life Coach
My name is Brian Zehring. I am married to my wife Janie, and we have two children, Karla and Leonidas. From a young age, I felt a deep calling to serve. I would dress in my father’s military uniforms, put on camouflage face paint, and explore the outdoors, imagining a life dedicated to purpose and discipline. That calling led me to join the U.S. Army at 17. During my time in the military, I deployed multiple times overseas and developed a lifelong passion for fitness, martial arts, and personal growth.
As I was leaving the military, I began to experience anxiety, panic attacks, and other symptoms I didn’t fully understand—early signs of PTSD. Over time, these symptoms worsened throughout my service as a firefighter paramedic, where I dedicated myself to helping others in critical moments until leaving Fire and Rescue in 2024. Like many who serve, I initially tried to push through it alone but eventually realized I needed help.
Through therapy, counseling, and medication, when necessary, I committed to the work of understanding and healing myself. I learned skills rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and embraced journaling, goal-setting, and intentional self-improvement. These practices not only helped me recover, but also revealed the transformative power of self-work, discipline, and purpose-driven action.
Today, as a Life Coach, I help others navigate transitions, overcome challenges, and discover meaning in their lives. My mission is to serve by guiding people to build resilience, clarity, and confidence, helping them step into their purpose and create the life they can achieve.
Service has always been my purpose. From the military to Fire and Rescue, and now through coaching, I continue to live that purpose every day—helping others become who they are meant to be.
