Komal has a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia.

Komal has several years of clinical experience, including individual,
family, and group therapy. Komal has worked in inpatient hospital settings, as well as outpatient settings. She has worked with individuals and families exhibiting a range of mental health concerns such as co-occurring mental health disorders, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and self-harm.

While incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), mindfulness, meditation, and solution focused techniques, Komal
works to meet the individual’s needs. Her approach with clients is to
be with them with a positive attitude, warmness, and empathy, in a
non-judgmental manner. Everyone is unique and therapy will be different for each person.

Komal has a special interest in working with young adults
who are facing many life transitions and coping with their mental
health. Her goal is to help clients be the best version of themselves
and help them find the strength to empower their lives.

In her free time, Komal enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and
spending time with friends and family.
