Jenny graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters degree in Social Work. She describes herself as passionate, results-oriented, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 24 years of experience.
Some of Jenny’s noteworthy career milestones include completing 2 years of advanced Strategic Family Therapy training while providing regional, intensive, in-home family therapy services. She also completed multiple CBT and DBT trainings while providing outpatient services for her predominately high-risk adult and child clients, including those living with serious mental illness, substance abuse issues, and / or other related diagnoses, including those living with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, ADD, ADHD, and Autism. Jenny most recently became ACT Certified through completing training for Acceptance & Commitment Therapy for Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Injury, PTSD, Psychosis, and More.
Jenny has worked in several non-profit advocacy settings for people with disabilities in long term care facilities, and for women within her local criminal justice system. She has also served as a long-term volunteer at her children’s schools, and worked as a Substitute Teacher in her county, after working as a stay-at-home mom for her two children for 10 years.

In her work, Jenny enjoys using multiple therapeutic approaches including Systems Theory; Strategic Family Therapy; Strengths Perspective; Person-Centered Therapy; Cognitive-Behavior Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Jenny loves being the mother to her 2 children, and the wife of her husband for 20+ years. She is originally from South Carolina, where she still considers her “roots,” but enjoys raising her children in a rural community like her hometown. When not working, Jenny loves working out, learning new things, meeting new people, spending time with friends, volunteering, taking long walks in nature, and going on adventures.
