Deborah received her graduate certificate in Health Informatics from the University of Chicago Graham School and her Masters Degree in Social Work, with clinical concentration, from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is recognized as a Supervisee in Social Work under clinical supervision towards licensure. Her Supervisor toward licensure is Jennifer Grim, LCSW of MySpectrum Counseling & Coaching. Deborah brings together her broad and diverse background in a holistic mind-body-spirit model of care. Deb employs somatic and neurosequential approaches to therapy and recovery for individuals of every age. She also utilizes strength based, solution focused strategies applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to support clients building and enjoying their best life. Deborah also facilitates creative and play based techniques for all ages and abilities.

Deborah welcomes the opportunity to work collaboratively with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She brings experiences with individually affirming care, neurodiversity, ADHD, stress management, achievement/performance management, trauma recovery, grief, issues of aging, and complex family dynamics. 

Deb’s interests include equine, animal assisted and outdoor therapies, and she enjoys creating things, water sports, and time with her family most of all.
