Adriane received a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia.
Adriane has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. While at VCU, she spent much of her time working within Richmond City Schools providing intensive therapeutic services for students in need of emotional or behavioral support. She also spent some time conducting psychosocial assessments and therapy services to adults in inpatient hospital settings. Prior to joining MySpectrum, Adriane was a pediatric Social Worker providing support to those with an array of challenges including coping with chronic illness, life transitions, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. She has facilitated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) groups and positive parenting groups to those in the Hampton Roads area.
Adriane utilizes cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, and mindfulness therapy to help facilitate growth in her sessions. She strives to make therapy more accessible to those in need and will provide an empathetic atmosphere to discuss strategies on how to begin the journey for self-discovery and personal growth.
In her free time, Adriane is a plant enthusiast who enjoys hiking with her rescue pup, Milo. She also enjoys discovering new podcasts while also trying new recipes to make for her partner, family, and friends.
