Ronnie received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Memphis, in Memphis, TN, in 2005. She also earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Simmons University, in Boston, MA, in 2007. Ronnie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia.
During her 15 years as a therapist, Ronnie has worked with adolescents, adults, and elders. She has extensive experience working with individuals who have Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. More recently, Ronnie is a part of the military community where she has developed an understanding of this unique group.
Ronnie enjoys creating strong, person-centered connections with her clients. She believes, in this supportive environment, using various evidenced-based modalities, such as Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and trauma focused therapy, her clients are able to work through their issues. These issues often include grief/loss, trauma, life changes, depression, and anxiety.
