Kimberly is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a Masters degree in Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia with over 10 years of professional experience.
Throughout her career, she has worked in a residential facility, community mental health, and crisis services. Kimberly specializes in treating children and adolescents and providing trauma care to individuals and their families.
Kimberly’s approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Child, Adult, Relationship Enhancement (CARE) strategies. Kimberly utilizes a person-centered approach to help with growth and healing. Kimberly provides a non-judgmental and supportive environment to help clients process their trauma and work through their problems.
Kimberly is also a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral therapist. She recognizes that relationship and rapport building is important in the outcomes of treatment success.
When not working, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and cooking.
