Jenny has a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Registered Play Therapist and provides clinical supervision and training services to other counselors and providers within the community.

With a previous master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, she has a diverse background ranging from government relations and public policy, to working within the Federal government for victims of crime and human trafficking. She more recently has held therapy positions in hospital, community-based, and residential settings before coming to MySpectrum.

Jenny has extensive training in trauma, expressive art/play therapy, CBT, and DBT approaches, allowing her to specialize in treatment of a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and relationship concerns across all life stages. Her style is compassionate, yet direct, and often incorporates aspects of neuroscience and mindfulness.

When not working, Jenny has a passion for traveling, crafts & DIY, and animal-assisted therapy.
