Javier earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from Old Dominion University. He earned a Post Graduate Certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Old Dominion University. He is currently working toward a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Duke University. He is a Registered Nurse with Multi-State Privilege and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Psychiatric / Mental Health Autonomous Privilege in Virginia.
Javier is a highly qualified Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in managing mood disorders, particularly bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), unipolar depression, and anxiety. He is dedicated to helping his patients stabilize their racing thoughts and mood fluctuations, enabling them to focus on their true feelings and achieve a balanced state of mind.
