Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Regent University and dual Master of Science degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in trauma and crisis, and School Counseling, from Walden University. She is a Resident Counselor in the state of Virginia, practicing under the supervision of Keith Huffman, LPC, at MySpectrum.

With over seven years of experience, Christina is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome trauma, manage mental health challenges, and build resilience. Christina’s career spans a diverse range of settings, including community, academic, and outpatient environments. She has extensive experience working with youth and adult populations, focusing on issues such as trauma, social anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, depression, anxiety, identity struggles, severe mental illness, and family dynamics. She has a particular expertise in working with at-risk youth and has also supported individuals with developmental delays, including Down Syndrome.

Christina’s counseling approach is rooted in a deep belief in human dignity, compassion, and respect, principles she views as essential in fostering healthy relationships. Christina integrates person-centered therapy with humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques to empower her clients, helping them navigate personal challenges, build emotional resilience, and achieve lasting change.

Outside of her professional life, Christina is a devoted wife, stepmom to three, and dog mom. Her heart for service extends beyond her career, particularly in advocating for and supporting women who have survived domestic violence, sexual assault, and other life challenges. Christina believes in the power of grace, and she attributes her successes to the unwavering strength she draws from her faith. Through her work, she is committed to uplifting others, exemplifying the values of hope, healing, and empowerment.
