Caitlin Provencher, M.Ed., Resident in Counseling
Outpatient Therapist,

Practicing Under the Supervision of
Keith Huffman, LPC

Caitlin earned a Masters of Education in Counselor Education with a higher education specialization, from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Resident in Counseling in Virginia, practicing under the supervision of Keith Huffman, LPC, at MySpectrum.

Caitlin has spent time working in higher education and in the community as well as outpatient services. During her experiences, she has worked with adult populations on advocacy skills and identifying resources available to them. Her work with adult populations targets anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity exploration, relationship concerns, gender and sexuality, and trauma.

Caitlin creates a nonjudgemental, comfortable space to explore life experiences through a holistic lens. She understands the importance of collaborating with her clients to assist with identifying goals they want to work towards during their therapeutic journey. With boundaries being a necessity, Caitlin helps her clients identify what their boundaries are and learn how to communicate those to others. She utilizes an integrated approach of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Feminist Therapy. She enjoys being a mirror for clients to understand their needs and boundaries on their own while navigating their healing.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys reading, baking, singing, spending time with friends and her cat, and tending to her houseplants. She also enjoys being outdoors, when possible, to soak up the sun!
