Adrienne received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from James Madison University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Adrienne is a Clinician with over 17 years of experience who works with adults, adolescents, and families through providing Teletherapy at MySpectrum. She has worked with clients with a wide range of needs including depression, anxiety, parenting skills, opposition to authority, anger management, sexualized issues and boundary struggles, trauma informed therapy, personality disorders, self-esteem/shame, and interpersonal communication skills. She has also assisted clients with resilience and perseverance from their experiences with trauma and abuse.
Adrienne’s therapy style is genuine, interactive, and personable. She believes in treating everyone with dignity and self-worth. She is sensitive and empathetic to the needs of others. Adrienne strongly believes in providing ethical treatment and working within areas of her competence. Her personality and style of communication is energetic and joyful. She is invested in helping others achieve optimal functioning and reaching their goals. Adrienne’s approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Rational-Emotive Therapy. She also utilizes Solution Focused Therapy and Trauma Informed Therapy models.
When not working, Adrienne attends church, enjoys reading, spending time with family, and traveling.
